It is probably associated with the airfield 23 km northwest, at Yeysk. The range contains a support area and the following training facilities: a strafing target/ silhouette range with 22 aircraft silhouettes and- 9 rectangular targets; 4 -emplacements or per- 25X1 D TCS-10581/64 N P IC/R- 5080/64 sonnel shelters; one emplacement, and a pos- sible moving target. In addition, there is an area of unidentified activity consisting of 2 rectangular ground patterns and a building at the southeast corner of the strafing range (Fig- ures 2 and 3). KEYHOLE missions covered this area change was noted during this time. Dirt and gravel roads connect to the main highways. Aircraft Landing Strips An airfield.is located 23 km northwest at Yeysk.,__~- Administrative and Troop Housing Area Ar- Area D contains 2 multistory administration buildings /barracks and 10 su port buildings. Area S1 contains 22 aircraft silhouettes and 9 rectangular targets for bombing and strafing. Area S2 contains 4 emplacements or per- sonnel shelters. Area S3 contains a single, emplacement.
