This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations being prepared for a PIA CIA Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by \PIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed 1w th~\1'IC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division I, and the Production
Center 1Pla il)l:A). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production C.enteer 1I'la.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles ind letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations ire identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.

This installation is located in Ordzhoni-
kidze, 750 meters east of the Terek River and
600 meters west of the city stadium (Figure 1).
Covering an area of 34 acres, it contains a L--
shaped administration building, 3 barracks, 2
support buildings, and 7 vehicle storage/main-
tenance buildings (Figures 2 and 3). Although ye-
hicles-at this installation cannot be identified as
to type, armored vehicles, if present, woul4l
probably utilize the range and driver-training fa-
cilities of Ordzhonikidze Military I-raining In-

Possibly associated with this installation
is a double-fenced -ammunition storage area
located 1,400 meters to the east. This area
covers 25 acres and contains 2 reverted stor-
age buildings, 2 support buildings, and 2 se-
curity buildings.

of Ordzhonikidze.
Administrative and Troop Housing Area
Area 1) contains I l'-shaped administration
building, 3 barrack,, and a support building.
Ammunition Storage Area
Area F contains 2 revetted storage build-
ings. 2 support buildings, and 2 security build-
ings.
\rea J contains - vehicle storage main-
tenance buildings and a support building.
