This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations being prepared for a DI.\'CIA Pane)}. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC.), and the Production
Center IPla (ILIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production Center 1111a.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as

Tbilisi Engineer Barracks) Mtskheta is
located 21, kilometers (km) no th of 'I-bilisi,
on the east bank of the Kura liver, opposite
the town of lltskheta (Figure 1 ). The in-
stallation covers 44 acres and'contains bar-
racks, administration, storage, vehicle main=tenance, and support buildings. A small, 2-
acre, secured munitions storage area is in
the northeast part of the installation (Figures
2 and 3).

The installation is served by all-weather

Area D contains 6 multistory barracks
and a multistory administration building.
Area L1 contains 6 storage buildings.

storage buildings enclosed by a fence.
Area 11 contains 20 dependents quarters.
Lquipment Storage/,Maintenance Area
Area J contains 4 vehicle storage buildings
(one 320 by 35 feet, one 260 by 35 feet, one
200 by 25 feet, and one 140 by 30 feet), one
85- by :35-foot vehicle maintenance building,
and 3 .zuppor[ buildings.
