The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division ('EPIC), and the Production Center 1Pla (ILIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. A%hen a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The installa- -tion covers approximately 300 acres and con- tains a small-arms firing range, a wheeled- vehicle driver-training course, a tracked-ve- hicle driver-training course, 2 tank/assault- gun firing ranges, and an abandoned AAA site (Figure 2). A storage area with 3 revetted explosives storage buildings is located in the southwestern part of the training area. TOP SECRET CHESS RUFF SUMMARY The installation was covered on 0 KEY- 25X1 D HOLE missions between 25X1 D All photography shows indications - of light activity. Two moving targets on one of the tank/assault-gun firing ranges were constructed between No other changes were observed. DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION The area is served by secondary roads from Yevpatoriya. Yevpatoriya Airfield is located 2 kilometers (km) northwest. Ammunition Storage Area Area F is secured and contains 3 revetted explosives storage buildings. I A POL storage area with 9 medium tanks is located 1.5 km south at 45-12N 033-23E. Small-Arms Firing Range Area L contains a small-arms firing range measuring 480 by 90 feet. Area M1 is a v,-heeled-vehicle driver- training area with 2 figure-8 courses. Area M2 is a tracked-vehicle driver- training course. This is a closed-circuit course which contains a small oval circuit within a larger circuit. Area N1 is a 2,740-foot range with a 1,600- foot firing lane and a moving-target run. The firing lane appears old. Light ground scarring is visible near the target run. Area N2 is a 2,250-foot range with 4 moving- target runs. Two scars extend from a static firing line to the moving-target runs and ground scarring is visible near the target runs. Two of the target runs were constructed between Artillery Emplacements (Batteries) Area Q contains an abandoned AAA site with 8 firing positions.
