PREFACE
This report is one in a series on soviet Ground l orce and Logistic
installations being prepared for as l1l.A 'CIA Panel. The series is.being
coordinated, published and disseminated by WIC;. The photographic
analysis is being p1rforn?cd by the A'1'IC Photographic Ana1}_sis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division APIC~, and the Production
Center 1P1a ll.\). -1 he photogtaplhJc .?nalysis fo this particular re-
port was performed by the Prnduction Center 1 P 1 a.
In the interest of till il-w-mit%, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical '.yith those
appearing in the project requirement. Al hen a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.

cated on the west edge of \ovorossivsk. 3.5
kilometers ikm) west of the 1-grcest mole in
the harbor (Figure 1). The installation covers
approximately 780 acres and contains 2 admin-
istration buildings, 4 administration buildings
barracks, 75 barracks, S storage buildings, 24
explosives storage buildings, 6 possible storage-
buildings, I probable receiving 'administration
building. 3 security.--buildings, 17 maintenance
sheds. 61 support Luildings, 23 probable family
quarters, and 2 motor parks (Figures-2 and 3).
