This report is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations being prepared for a DIA/CI:A Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by \PIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the \PIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (\PIC), and the Production
Center 1Pla MIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production Center 1Pla.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as
follows: (:A) railroad service, (13) road service, (C) landing, strips,
(D) administrative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am-
munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (11) other buildings and
facilities, (J) equipment storage 'maintenance areas. (1:) athletic fields,
(L) small arms firing ranges, (M) driver training areas, (\) tank
assault gun firing ranges, (P flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery
emplacements (batteries), (R infantry or combined arms field train-
ing areas or courses, (S) special training facilities. (T) unidentified
facilities or tracking activity.

Two possible reverted POL storage tanks
are .located in a secured area 8.5 km west-
southwest of Lenkoran Army Barracks. The
area also contains three magazines.
Area H1 has 3 support -buildings and Area
112 has 13 support buildings. In Area 112-there
are 6 ground scars arranged in a circle 173
feet in diameter. Very pronounced lines rad-
iate from the center to 5 of the 6 ground.scars.
Area J1 contains a 175- by`50- foot possi-
ble vehicle maintenance building, a 105- by 50-
foot possible vehicle maintenance 'storage build-
ing with U-shaped wings measuring 400 by
40 feet and 320 by 40 feet, 2 possible vehicle
storage buildings (270 by 45 feet and 220 by
45 feet), 2 storage buildings, and 14 support
buildings.
