GALOSH MISSILE I?MUSURATI OIL FROM "ROC} TS ON GUARD FOR PEACE"

In a recent Soviet television broadcast a probable Galosh missile was
rhown :n a launch sequence. As this 1s the first view of the exposed Galosh,
:iren_?io and other mensuration will be provided in this report.
The mensuration accomplished results from an assumption that the missile
launched In the fiLmed sequence is in fact th@ Galosh, with container dimensions
-imilar to those of the Galosh seen in tiozcow. (65 feet long
i:am eter) Sneed and acceleration data portrayed in Attachment 2 is based on a
camera operating at 24 frames per second.
Attachment 1 reveal-: a mi.-,.-Ile which in some respects has similar features
