This rrpbrt is one in a series on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic
installations being prepared or a DIA/CIA Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Producti"ti
Center 1Pla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production Center 1 P l a.

appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.

Syzran Supply Depot Railroad Station West
PUG is ,located in the western part of Syzran
and immediately north of the Syzran Railroad
Station, Yards, and Shops West (Figure 1.).
. The depot covers approximately 300 acres,
is fenced, and divided into 2 storage and 2
administration areas.
The administration areas contain 12 bar-
racks/administration buildings, 2 dependents
quarters, 12 storage huts, and 10 support
structures. The storage areas contain 2 ad-
ministration and 109 storage buildings. There
are also a' possible athletic field and 6 rows
of possible vehicles (Figures 2 and 3).

No major change was noted.
Two rail spurs serve the southern storage
area. The main 'spur through the northern
portion has been dismantled.
Good all-weather roads serve the instal-
lation.
Administration and Troop Housing Areas
Area DI contains 2 multistory barracks,
2 multistory administration buildings, 2 pos-
sible dependents quarters, 4 storage huts, and
6 support buildings.
Area D2 contains 3 multistory barracks/
administration buildings, 5 barracks, 4 support
buildings and 8 storage huts.
General Storage Areas
Area El contains 2 administration and 45
storage buildings.
Area E2 contains 64 storage buildings (4
rail served).
Equipment Storage/Maintenance Area
Area J contpins 6 rows of possible vehicles.
Area K is a possible athletic. field.
