(nm)?east of Olenegorsk Airfield at 68-07N 33-5-117 (Figure

support area.
the operations area consists of a double-fencedarcaof
approximately 48.5 acres containing the dual IIEN HOUSE,
type structures, with their associated central control build-
ing, and 8 operational support buildings. The support area
consists of 74 buildings and structures, or buildings under
construction, and is approximately 0.5 min generally south
of the operations area.
building, is approximately 200 by 20 feet and of undetermined
height.. 'Iwo probable entrances, each 20 by 15 feet by 10
feet high, are on the southeast side of the central portion of
the control building.
Also treated as it part ofthe ofthecentral cobuilding are
the small structures or connecting galleries which join the
control building tathejiteltna buildings._'Ihese connecting
structures are on the north and west corners of the central
control building and are each canted 15 degrees toward the
southeast in relation to it. These connectingstructures are
each approximately 85 by 35 feet by- It Is in-
teresting to note that the heights of the structures are-
above that of the central control building front which they
emanate. nr_vA r

Sixty-six probable crates measuring approximately 30

antenna building. +n additional 9 smaller probable crates
are also present in the saute area. Sixty-five of the large
probable crates and at least eighty-eight 20-byIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIprob-
able crates are near the security fence northeast of the
northeast linear structure. 25X1 D
Of the 8 operational support buildings within tile SeCtired

SUPPORT AREA
'1 lie Support area consists of,housing and storage bill ld-
ings, a water supply facility, a power substation, and a
sewage disposal plant. There are 74buildings,or structures;

13 are new and 13 are newly observed on the large-scale

the main water supply facility Is in2parts: a probable
water treatment plant and a water pumping station. The
treatment plant consists of I approximately

foot diameter standpipe of undetermined height. Thepuml--
ing station consists of 2 buildings on the shore of the lake
cast of the treatment plant. A pipeline scar can be seen
between the 2 facilities, as can additional scars from the
treatment plant to the operations area and 1uarious parts of
the support area. A second probable water supply facility
is southeast of the primary pumping station. This smaller
facility is evidenced by an approximately diameter
intake it the ekeand fhe pipeline scar leading from the
intake to the support area.
A power substation under construction Is Situatedatthe
Southeast extremity of the support area. This facility and
the powerlines leading Into It are the subject of a separate
report (in preparation under NPIC Project 11125/65),
'I he -1 buildings, however, have been Included in Figure 2.
A probable Sewage treatment plant Is being constructed
south of the main road. It consists of 2 approximately=
foot diameter probable digesters, a sewage treatment and
pumping station, and 3 small support buildings.
