Thie report is one in a series. on Soviet Ground Force and Logistic .
installations being prepared for a DIA/CIA Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by \PIC. The photographic
analysis is"being performed by the ;`PIC Photographic .Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production
Center 1Pla (DIA).~ The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the C1:1 Photographic Intelligence Division
In the interest -of uniformity, the titles and letter de?i~nators for
the facilities. observed at these installations are identicah with those
appearing in the project requirement. \\'hen a specific facility is Holz
observed both its .title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles- and letter ..designators for the various faci~3ties are as
follows: (A) railroad .service, (B) road service, (C) landing strips,
(D) admin[sirative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am-
munition storage areas, (G) POI. storage areas, (H) other buildings and
facilities, (J) equipment storage/maintenance areas, (1:) athletic fields,

This military installation is~ 4 kilometers
(km) southeast ~ of Petropavlovsk Army Bar-
racks and 10 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-
- Kamchatskiy (Figure 1).
The installation covers approximately 700
acres and contains 85 buildings, including 1
administration building, 4 probable barracks,
45 housing units, 2 storage buildings, 1 probable
vehicle shed, .1 probable vehicle maintenance
building, 28 support buildings, and 3 range con-
trol buildings. It also contains a motor park,

secondary.probable all-weather road
connects the ~ installa>r'ion with Petropavlovsk
Army Barracks`and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
Area D1 contains 45 housing units (not
showti in Figure 3).
Area D2 contains 1 administration building
and 4 probable bar~aaks.

buildings.
' Three POL storage areas are located in
Petropavlovsk.
Twenty-one support buildings are dispersed
throughout the installation.. Three range control
