This memorandum is in reply to a request from OCI
for photo-mosaic cover of the following Chinese Off-Shore s n s;
NAN YU SHAN, PI SHAN, NAN CHI SHAN,PEIKANTANG(TANGKI),MATSU,
PAI CH'UAN,CHUNG-CHUAN TAO(TUNGKUEN),WU-CHIIU,CHINMEN,and the
PESCADORES ISLANDS.
Mosaics of most of these islands are contained in the
following Navy publications:
ONI 42-3 China Offshore Islands from 23?N to 31?N. 30 July 1954. Secret
ONI t2-L Intelligence Study,Quemoy-Amoy Area. 17 Sept-1954, Secret
ONI 42-7 Matsu Island Group and White Dog Islands. 2 Feb-1955. Secret
SPIR #32 Pescadores Islands. 25 January 1955. (This report covers
all the islands in the group, includes mosaics,def ense sketches,
plot maps, and considerable detail.)
Amoy-Quemoy Relief Photo Maps 198A,198B,198C at scale of 1;50,000,
compiled by P.I.C, from Sept. 1954 to February 1955, were
procured from P.I.C. and supplied to the requester.
In addition to supplying the above information, which satisfied
the original request, the following photography was procured and
