Through consultation with of the Reconnaissance Branch, the following information was obtained and delivered orally to the requester. was cleared he to receive the information, which/planned to ude only to verify conclusions that he had arrived at by other sources. 1. There are three drydocks, measuring 525',650', and 725, in length, with maximum width of 115'. Practically all repair and construction takes place in these drydocks. 2. There are three short marine railways located to the west of the two drydocks in the east portion of the Naval Shipyard. These marine railways handle boats up to the size of PT boats. 3. Many large cranes were observed in the shipyard and new construction and much activity was noted. 4. 500 ships over 100, in length were observed in the Vladivostok area. These ships included two cruisers of the Kirov Class, and several destroyers, submarines, destroyer escorts and smaller craft.
