COMMENT: mobile Uomsat units were seen at a arvos Signal e HQ/BKS L- in the Far East, Chita Army Bks North AL-2 in the Transbaykal, and Alma-Ata Army Bks AL-4 in the Central Asia Military District. Recognition features: two mobile comsat antennas connected by cables to URAL 375 van trucks. Two twinplate antennas and their associated equipment were in close proximity at two of the three installations.
