Probable new version of the SPOON REST radar identified at Sary-Shagan MTC
new array is mounted on a Ural 375 van truck. A second URAL 375 van truck and two van
trailers are associated with the radar. This probable new version of the SPOON REST

COMMENT: A probable new version of the SPOON REST radar has been identified at Sary-
Shagan Missile Test Center, Launch Complexes A and E. Unlike previous versions of SPOON
REST, it has an array of 16 rather than 12 stacked yagi antennas, and a major boom
for SPOON REST A and 60 feet for SPOON REST B. 25X
