TITLE/SIGNIFICANCE:
New Czechos
lovakian ARS Type Decontamination Vehicle
COMMENT: This new ARS type
decontamination vehicle is being deployed with Czech chemical
defense units. It consists
of a box-type unit mounted on the rear of the vehicle similar
to the boiler on the Polish
IRS decontamination vehicle. The storage compartments on
both sides of the tank are
similar to those on the ARS-12/14. The chasis is a Czech
TATRA-148.
