The HAZE A has a boat hull, sponsons along the side of the fuselage near the aft section, and retractable landing gear. This helicopter is used in ASW and sea search/ rescue operations. NOTE: The sponsons should not be confused with the air conditioning/fuel tanks alon the fuselage of the HIP C.
