COMMENT:SIX Soviet ARCV and a possibly new BMP variant were observed parked in a column
at a tracked vehicle drivers training course next to Borisov Hq Tk Div/AB AL 2 1 )ryl
The ARCV variant is similar in appearance to the ARCV M-1974 which is asso(25X1
iated with self-propelled artillery, except for two obvious features. It has no turret
and a rectangular extension overhangs the right rear edge of the chassis. The possibly
new BMP variant appears to resemble the BTR-60 FAC. The function of both these vehicles
is unknown. Please report all sightings to the ground forces coordinator.
