A new type of comsat station, designated Type D, has been identified at various
radio communications transmitter stations in the Soviet Union. (S)
coMMENT: (S/WNINTEL/NFD) The Type D comsat station is similar in appearance to the
Type C comsat station. The length of the building for the Type D is 8 meters shorter
than that of the Type C and is a single story building unlike the Type C which is a
two-story builciiiig. notii types nave the antenna pedestals at the ends of the building
and off center from the long axis. (For examples of Types A, B, and C Comsat
