NEWLY IDENTIFIED AIRFIELD IN EGYPT.
2. REMARKS:
THIS IS THE SECOND MAJOR AIRFIELD CONSTRUCTED IN EGYPT DURING
THE LAST YEAR. IT IS LOCATED 6o NM WEST OF THE ISRAELI BORDER AND
45 NM EAST OF THE SUEZ CANAL. THE OTHER AIRFIELD AT BANI SUWAYF,
NOW NEARING COMPLETION, REPORTEDLY WILL BECOME A MILITARY BASE AT
THE BEGINNING OF 1966.

ON SINAI PENINSULA, 24 NM SOUTHWEST OF BIR HASANAH.

CONNECTING LINKS, 3 CROSSOVER LINKS, 2 DISPERSAL AREAS EACH CONNECTED
