THIS AIRFIELD WAS BUILT AND USED DURING WORLD
WAR II AS A B-24 BASE. IT WAS ABANDONED FOR A
PERIOD OF YEARS BUT WAS PROBABLY REHABILITATED
IN EARLY 1959 AND PLACED IN OPERATION FOR LIGHT
TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT.
APPROXIMATELY 140 NM EAST OF THE CHINA/BURMA
BORDER, 185 NM NORTH-NORTHWEST OF THE CHINA/
LAOS BORDER, 185 NM NORTHWEST OF THE CHINA/
NORTH VIETNAM BORDER, AND ONE NM SOUTHEAST OF
OF YUN-NAN-I AT 2525N 10042E.
