LEIPAJA AIRFIELD EAST, USSR
LIEPAJA AIRFIELD EAST CONSISTS OF A 6,615 X
155 FT E/W PREPARED SURFACE RUNWAY. THERE
ARE EXTENSIVE SUPPORT FACILITIES IMMEDIATELY
NORTH OF THE AIRFIELD. A RAIL LINE RUNS BY
THE EAST END OF THE RUNWAY WITH A SPUR LINE
RUNNING INTO THE SUPPORT AREA. THE FIELD IS
ALSO WELL SERVED BY ROADS.
