SUBJECT: Meetings on KIQs Strategy Reports
REFERENCE: USIB-D-22.1/43, 9 October 1975
1. We need to have strategy reports prepared on the PRC
KIQs for FY 1976. These seven KIQs on China (35-42) are con-
tained on pages 7 and 8 of referenced report. I propose we
have three meetings to handle the strategy reports.
a. The first meeting would be on Wednesday,
12 November, at 1000 hours in SG-00 at CIA Langley
to cover KIQs 35 and 36.
b. The second meeting would be on Friday,
21 November, at 1000 in 5G-00, to handle KIQ 37.
c. The third meeting would be on 4 December,
at 1000 in 5G-00, to handle KIQs 38, 39, 40, 41.
d. KIQ 42 will be handled by the NIO for
Strategic Programs.
2. The strategy sessions are supposed to do two things.
First, establish specific collection targets and second, as-
sign the various components collection and analytical tasks.
3. I am attaching a sample of a strategy report in
case you haven't personally been exposed to.this phenomenon
before. I hope Attendees will come prepared to help designate
specific targets and also with contributions in the collection
and analytical fields where applicable.
