SUBJECT: Meetings on KIQs Strategy Reports
REFERENCE: USIB-D-22.1/43, 9 October 1975
1. We need to have strategy reports prepared on the PRC
KIQs for FY 1976. These seven KIQs on China (35-421 are con-
tained on pages 7 and 8 of referenced report. I propose we
have: three meetings to handle the strategy reports. .
a. The firs00mhoursginoSG~00eatnClAdLangley
12 Novembex, at 10
to cover KIQs 35 and 36,
b. The second meeting would be on Friday,
21 November, at 1000 in 5G-00, to handle KIQ 37.
c, The third meeting would be on 4 December,
at 1000 in 5G-00, to handle KIQs 3$, 39, 40, 41..
d. KTQ 42 will be handled by the NIO for
Strategic Programs.
2. The strategy sessions are supposed to do two things.
First, establish specific collection targets and second, as-
sign the various components collection and analytical tasks.
3. I am attaching a sample of a strategy report in.
case you haven't personally been exposed to this phenamenan
before. I hope Attendees will come prepared to help designate
specific targets and also with contributions in the collection
an~i analytical. fields whexe applicable.
