to Agency for Fiscal Year 1955.
1. Reference is made to your attached memorandum of 2 August
1954, relative to setting up the Fiscal Year 1955 funds of the Agency
on the General Ledger accounts of the Fiscal Division.
2. We were not in full accord with some of the provisions of
the above-mentioned memorandum and after several discussions with the
Technical Accounting Staff relative to our differences of opinion
as to how these funds should be recorded, it was agreed that TAS
would initiate either the revision or amendment of the original
memorandum. Upon receipt of such revision or amendment as agreed
upon we will record the Fiscal Year 1955 funds on the General Ledger
accounts.
