2. It is not the intent of the proposed procedures to apply to
non.expendable materiel when it is known that the wisteria will be
destroyed or ems:sled during testing or evaluation. Materiel in this
category will continue to be requisitioned in the normal miner,
accorepanied by a Certificate ofF`apenditure.
3. The cost of repairing damaged equipment, when no evidence
of negligenee is eixparent, viii be absorbed by the Supply Division
where such damages are minor in nature and caused by fair wear and
tear. When damps is to such an extent that repair is neither
economical nor feasible, the using activity will be coated by meezu;
of an ex post facto charge to the applicable Property Authorization
Account. If im,lor components of the equipment have been removed? the
replacement of these conponento will be coated to the using activity.
