Approved For Releasq 2VEY/A'i`-la44DF / 434A00030Q,070032-6 v o H'u ts4 t 11\\- 5 April 1950 In accordance with Medical Consultants Program as approved by the Director, C.I.A., 16 January 1950, the following procedure will be followed: A number of Consultants will be chosen by C.I.A. Surgeon and a notice of his choice will be sent to Employees Division who will initiate security with oath of secrecy. Indoctrination of these Consultants will be accomplished by C.I.A. Surgeon at such time as Em- ployees Division notifies C.I.A. Surgeon that security, etc., is accomplished. Utilizing services of Consultants by the C.I.A. Surgeon for further diagnostic assistance will be accom- plished in the following manner: 1. Patients sent to Consultants by Medical Division as necessary. Unvouchered funds notified of this action at initiation and Employees Division will be notified of those cases under their jurisdiction. 2. Consultant reports returned to Medical Division plus consultation fees. These fees will be evaluated by C.I.A. Surgeon and if proper, forwarded. to unvouchered funds for reimbursement of Consultant, The medical reDoorts will be retained by the Medical Division. JOHN R.
