NOTE FOR: Deputy Director for Administration
1. The purpose of this is to advise you of our current situation
with respect to space or the lack thereof. You will recall I brought
you up to date in my memorandum of 18 December 1975 (OGC 75-4758).
Subsequent to that memorandum additional lawyers have come on
board, as well as secretaries, and we are now doubling up in a
number of offices and still have two lawyers in the vault space which
we increasingly need to use for its intended purpose. Additionally,
we are in the process of bringing on four new lawyers and three
secretaries to bring our staffing up to full strength. How we are
going to accommodate our full staffing complement I do not know.
2. Jack, I realize that you warned me space is a desparate
problem at this time, but I simply wanted to advise you as to where
OGC's needs stand so that you will be fully up to date.
