1. Procurement Management Staff has checked into this
25X1A with at NPIC, and it appears that we have contrib-
uted enough film to the recovery program to warrant drawing
against the silver recovered. when silver is an item of
significant material cost in any Agency contract.
2. An informal survey of our senior contracting
officers indicated that while Agency-funded procurement has
not generated too many requirements for silver, there have
been some rather significant requirements in the National
programs and in some of the larger OD&E programs.
3. PMS will prepare a Procurement Note on the subject
25X1A and will reply to memo.
