Approved For Release 2001/07/16 : CIA-RDP79-00498A000300(nP04-3' ADP Matters for Discussion at Forthcoming EAG Meeting John F. Blake Deputy Director for Administration Room 7D24, Headquarters 5454 2 November 1976 Director of Data Processing Room 2D-00, Hqs. I received the attached "advisory" from Hank Knoche. I mentioned to him that we had an early-on conversation with Jim Taylor on this matter. It was agreed in that conversation that part of your presentation would represent a "primer" both on types of equipment we possess and on Agency organization for use of that equipment. I suggest you still hold to that as your introductory words and then get into the other matters that Hank Knoche mentions. John F. Because this session will be an introductory one for many of us, I think we should get an overview of the value and cost of the significant ADP systems which are operational and underway. I would like the SAFE, RAPID, and ADSTAR systems in particular to be included. Danny May should feel free to call upon the Comptroller's Office or other Directorate staff for any help he needs. When we have completed this presentation, we can consider what additional sessions we may wish to have. E. H.
