SUBJECT Directorate of Administration On-Duty
Strength 30 September 1976
1. We have just completed our review of the Directorate
on duty strength projections for 30 September and have con-
cluded that, unless positive corrective actions take place,
a serious over strength problem will occur at the end of the
Transitional Quarter (TQ).
2. As a few components will be at or under strength
on 30 September we should be able to permit some overages
to exist. Thus, you are authorized to be in excess of
ceiling at the end of the TQ but your personnel strength must
not be more than I I
3. Please insure that necessary actions are undertaken
to comply with this requirement including notification to
the appropriate Agency applicant processing elements.
