Dear Professor Keulks, IM Thank you very much for your kind lette of September 12, as well as for the information Dr.A.V.Sklyarov gave me about the laboratory of surface research in Milwaukee. Prof.W.K.Hall has written to me about the difficulties connected with exchange by students. I informed him that this question will, seemingly, be settled at a personal meeting of Prof.O.K.Boreskovv with Prof.J.Baldeschwiller in Moscow in. November. In any case it would be a great pleasure if one of my colleagues goes to your laboratory and yours to mine. I am looking forward to receiving your proposals concerning further cooperation and intend discussing it in greater detail when we meet.
