1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS U.S. AIRCRAFT ON A STRIKE MISSION
NEAR PHUONG CRAY.
2. BACKGROUND:
THIS STRIKE IS IN THE VICINITY OF A NEW BY-PASS ROAD WHICH CONNECTS
NORTH VIETNAM ROUTES 101 AND 137.
PHOTOGRAPHY OF EARLY JUNE 1966 REVEALED THIS BY-PASS TO HAVE
BEEN INTERDICTED; HOWEVER, LATER PHOTOGRAPHY REVEALED VEHICLE TRACKS
BY-PASSING THE INTERDICTED SECTION.
