1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD REVEALS PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF FOUR
SHANGHAI-CLASS PTFs IN HAI PHONG HARBOR. IT ALSO REVEALS THE LARGEST
NAVAL ORDER OF BATTLE OBSERVED TO DATE ON PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE HAI PRONG
2. REMARKS:
PRIOR TO THIS TIME, COLLATERAL HAS CREDITED THE NORTH VIETNAMESE
WITH FOUR UNITS OF THE SHANGHAI-CLASS; NONE OF THESE, HOWEVER, HAVE
BEEN OBSERVED ON PHOTOGRAPHY.
3. LOCATION:
THE PORT FACILITIES ARE LOCATED ON THE NORTH EDGE OF HAI PRONG
ON THE SOUTH BANK OF THE CUA CAM (STREAM DISTRIBUTARY).
