BACKGROUND: A RAILROAD BY-PASS AND BY-PASS BRIDGE IVAS FIRST OBSERVED IN JUNE 1960 APPROXIMATELY 0.5 NM WEST OF TIE DAP CAU RAILROAD AND HIGHWAY BRIDGE. THIS BY-PASS BRIDGE (DAP CAU RAILROAD BRIDGE NE) HAS NEVER BEEN OBSERVED TO BE OPERATIONAL; SPANS HAVE BEEN MISSING AND OBSERVED NEARBY. TWO SPANS OP THE DAP CAU RAILROAD BRIDGE NE ARE LOCATED ON TilE SOUTH BANK OF TILE SONG CAU AT UTMS XJ1324S9 AND XJ1294o3. A LARGE RAFT IS OBSERVED AT UTM XJ129403. AS THE RESULT OF A U.S. AIR STRII:L THE DAP CAU RAILROAD AND HIGHWAY BRIDGE IS UNSERVICEA,;LE. T1VO SPANS LAVE BEEN DESTROYED, AND ONE SPAN HAS BEEN DISLOCATED.
