that his Office deals with the parent company and he would have to check further
Jbr the specific answer to these questions. In later talking to of
25X1A9a Office, I learned that the entire matter has been turned over to
of 0/CD, thus taking the covert people out of the picture. So

3. Attended an ad hoc meeting of representatives of Commo training, DD/A 25X1A9a
25X1A9a and DD/I, in room to discuss, with the proposal that
individuals with technical specialization, in particular Finance, Personnel,
Budget, etc., be followed by a Career Board of the technical Office concerned
rather than the Board of the substantive Office on whose T/O they work. I was
assured that no decisions regarding an individual would be made without full
approval of all three; the substantive board, the technical office board, and
the individual himself. DD/P has already undertaken the job of categorizing
all of his employees of this nature and it is requested that those of us at the
meeting have our components categorize their people by early January. ~5X1A9a
undertook to draft a Directive to accomplish this and I requested that a
second meeting of this group be held to consider the draft when ready. Any
VVJ1 discussion as to the desirability of this should be at this meeting and I
recommend that become ivolved for DD/I. 25X1A9a
