Major instructions were to get the JCS briefer to handle Korea; to revise the
maps so as to play down relief and stress critical terrain features such as rivers,
etc.; to repair the balance of the briefing so that it can be given by, at most,
two people and possibly one. Stated I would take a substantial part of the first
one as per DCI indication.
8. AD/CI presented the Watchpot to DCI who was favorably impressed and in-
dicated he would like to see it integrated with the Current Intelligence Bulletin
as a substitute for the present index.
