1. Dr. Andress of 0/CD requested authority to disseminate
SEs to the NSC Senior Staff and I gave such authority.

3. The Director informed us that he is planning to leave here
on 17 August with Gen. Bradley for one week. He will visit Alaska and
possibly Korea.

9. Following the USCIB meeting, I spoke with Gen. Lalid..,
Director of AFSS, and requested that he give us a briefing on the opera-
tions of his unit. Gen. Lind suggested that several CIA representatives
visit his establishment, so as to observe operations on the spot
and I accepted with thanks. After discussion of this matter at the ADst
meeting, I shall give a list of visitors to Gen. Lind and arrangements
can be made for this visit to Texas.
