1. The report attached to the reference was approved by the EP
with the following amendments:
a? The words "and resolve" were added to paragraph a (2)
between the words "clarify* and "any".
b. The word "coordination" in paragraph a is intended to apply
to those teortions of t11e Plan that ati'cect the .

2. Multilateral coordination referred to in paragraph a (2) of
the attachment to the reference will proceed by a committee under the
chairmanship of the Chfef, Programme Division, Plans and Policy Staff,
3. The Far Fast Production Plan will be processed throughout its
successive stages as a "provisional" or "intern" plan pending final
EPB action on the whole question of production planning,

but the chairman will present month3,y progress reports to the EPB.
7, A question concerning certain categories of publications eman at ing
from D/Tr and D/Ec was raised. The Chief, D/Tr and the Chief , D/Pub will
prepare a statement of terms of reference covering such publications as
a proposed new series of issuances for consideration of the EPB at its
next meeting on 18 January. In the interim period, the Chief., 1/Pub
will circulate pertinent extracts from a recent D/Tr report, for review
by the members of the EPB prior to the meeting.

The Committee win study and maIs recommendations to the IPB
on a plan for the production of intelligence needed to support
the policy-making bodies of the Gcvernment. This plan should
be broad in scope and should take into considerationta production
capabilities of all the US intelligence agencies. Such a plan
will be coordinated with the TAG agencies in fulfillment of the
CIA directive for coordination of intelligence planning,
