25X1A9a 8. The coordination of photo intelligence courses with OTR procedures
was the subject of a recent discussion by
of OTR. OTR facilities and procedures are available and
should be utilized by any courses presented within the Geographic Area.
25X1A9a 9. reported that of OTR plans to publish
a periodical on igence processes, as a vehicle for articles on various
aspects of intelligence processes. The articles will be presented on a
voluntary basis and will be published under the author's name. This
represents an opportunity to make worthwhile contributions to the literature
of intelligence. An editorial board will review the articles. The
publication will be classified and will be directed at CIA and the
intelligence ccmmsunity. Eventually it mey become a vehicle for ideas
25X1A9a on intelligence from the whole intelligence comity. A draft copy of
the first issue will soon be forwarded to the Geographic Area for review.

photo intelligence techniques, special cartographic presentation, foreign-
published maps as intelligence sources, etc.

in the Washington Auditorium are participating in the broad governsental

ARA, Dep en o State, which said that ABA has not budgeted for a

will include the item in a supplementary request for funds.

14. D/GL is establishing a shelf of geographic bulletins that flow

Area personnel. - will prepare a notice on the subject.
15. Map Library Division personnel toured the Map Reproduction
facilities of U. S. Geological Survey last week.

an interesting report on correlations between different types of terrain
and the various suspension systems used on military tank.
17. An exhibition of maps by Richard Edes Harrison is at Gsogge Washington
University during the month of )Jay.
19. The question of revisions to the O R publication on intelligence
collection was discussed. It was decided that the sections on map collection
and photo collection will be revised by D/GL and D/GP respectively by 27 May.
