1946, "Personnel Requisitions for the
Central Reports Staff", Tab:
1. The additional contribution of professional personnel
desired of the Department of State for the Central Reports Staff
consists of one persoxi qualified to serve as chief of a re Tonal
branch and five others qualified to serve as political and,or
economic analysts,
2. The Director of the Foreign Service has undertaken in-
formally to provide for C.R.S, two Foreign Service officers one
qualified to serve as branch chief and one as political analyst.
Formal action toward their assignment through SA-MC will be
initiated at a later date.
3. It is desired to recruit the remaining State Depart-
ment personnel from O.R I. so far as practicable, In that con-
nection, the following 0,R* I, personnel.have been informally
recommended to me for considerations
