1. Minutes of the 107th meeting were read and approved
as corrected.
2. Capt. McCaskill was seated as Board Member, vice
Major Woodyard, relieved.
3. The question of standardization of color, used on maps
to indicate the relief, was discussed and Capt. McCaskill will
instruct the Army Map Service and OSS in this matter.
4. The Secretary was directed to prepare a complete report
showing the status of chapters of JANIS 85 for submission to JTS
at their regular meeting on 9 October.
5. Cdr. Clinton reported on the status of the work of the
Editorial Section and indicated that JANIS 81 and 84 were complete.
Lt. Van Rees reported on the production status of JANIS 81 and 84;
and Lt. Guam reported that the progress of the Plans Section was
satisfactory.
6. Lt. Van Rees suggested that the changes for JANIS 154
be prepared by A. L. Garber Company, and he was instructed to
discuss this matter with Mr. NacCabe at the first opportunity.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
