MEMORANDUM FOR: JANIS Contributors.
5 May 1945
Subject: JANIS Priorities and Manuscript Requirements.
1. The attached list, Inclosure #1, is a priority schedule
for future JANIS studies and supersedes all previous instructions conflict-
ing therewith.
2. The priority schedule for the later studies is being
furnished for your information but same may be subject to change. It does
represent the best schedule that can be made at the present time.
3. JANIS manuscript requirements have increased considerably
and will necessitate handling through a central receiving agency (J.I.S.P.B.).
All previous instructions regarding manuscript requirements and distribution
thereof as contained in JANIS Memoranda #6 and #20 and Instruction Sheets are
hereby rescinded.
Li.. To meet the increased requirements, it is requested that
for all future studies the material as indicated below be sent to J.I.S.P.B.:
s,. Five (5), copies of all manuscript, maps, and
photographs.
b. Fifty (50) copies of all manuscript and essential
graphic material except photographs.
or a total of fifty-five (55) copies -- 5 with photographs and 50 without
photographs.
