Subject: Place Names for JANIS 155.
1. Paragraph 6, JANIS Memorandum ;;`26, relative to subject
matter is amended. A series of, maps produced by the Army Map
Service for JANIS 155 are being reprinted and will incorporate
many corrections in spelling of place names.
2. Place names appearing on work map, AIM 302131,
furnished by this office, are approved spellings.
3. For place names not appearing on work map, use
sources indicated in Par. 6, JANIS Memorandum `26, and encircle
the place name on triplicate copy of manuscript per JANIS Miemo-
randum -1128.
L. It is requested that all'place names to appear on maps
which do not now appear on work map, be submitted to J.I.S.P.B.
for check by Board on Geographical Names before maps are drafted.
