Subject: Organization of material for Caroline Islands (JANIS 104).
1. The area covered extends from 1?00'N to 10030'N and from
137?00.'E to 16L?00'E.
2. If necessary to divide the area, it may be treated as four
Eastern Area, from 1540001E to 1640O01E
East Central Area, from l48?30'E to 1540001E
West Central-Area, from 142?00'E to 118?30'E
Western Area, from 137000'E to 1914?00'E
3. In treating the individual islands in each of these areas
the order will be from East to West.
4. Maps for the whole area will be prepared as overlays for map to
be provided.
5. Maps of a subdivision or any portion of the area may be drawn to
a scale deemed suitable by the contributing agencies.
6. For the spelling of names, H.O. Charts will be the authority.
