2. The Coast and Geodetic Survey is a member of the

is the group responsible for directing the activities of
the Geographic Attache program. The Map Library also calls
the Coast and Geodetic Survey for maps on a regular basis
to satisfy CIA requirements. The Cartography Division has
only occasional contacts with C & CS, mostly in the field
of technical cartography and the development of new drafting
and reproducing techniques and materials,
