Soviet Union/Eastern Europe Satellites
1. Stimulate a program of systematic collection of en-
vironmental data on foreign areas in support of basic in-
telligence needs.
2. Intensify and expand foreign and domestic map col-
lection program to meet increasing demands for coverage
of priority areas and topics, and to attain maximum map
collection prior to the anticipated gradual denial of
areas to this type of collection.
