OUBUCT Requirement T1V-1-69, Adhesive Device
For Attachment
1. The subject requirement has been discussed with
TOD and ORDwoject officers and ORD test work involving
adhesives and suction devices has been coordinated with
TOD. The updating of this requirement is believed in
order and to this end it is requested that ORD forward
to TOD/DOIR pertinent development and/or test reports.
This work should be reviewed in detail Wore a meaning-
ful TOD input to further work can be mute.
2. It can be generally stated at this time that this
work is not considered by TOD as high priority. There have
not been operations involving I I for years and none
have been contemplated to our knowledge. However, the ORD
work has extended the I_ Iattachment capability to
--ifor which there was previously no
existing mechanism. It is intended that after review of
the ORD technical reports, that a proper emphasis and pri-
ority can be assigned to any on-going effort.
