Beware Of Comrades Bearing Monkey Wrenches
In his speech to the Slovenian aktiv 25X1
President Tito praised the Slovenes for having taken
a "very firm course" to consolidate the party and was "very
pleased" that accounts had been settled so "energetically"
with various technocratic, and bureaucratic elements. Lest
the Republic party let down its guard, however, he warned
that everything had not been completed. Tito warned of those
who will resist, of those who will again "raise their heads" 25X1
and throw "monkey wrenches." On the whole, Tito seemed to
express satisfaction with the progress of his drive to re-
centralize the party.
