MEMORANDUM FOR: Assistant for Technical Development, NPIC
SUBJECT: Materials Handling
1. called me Monday, 15 May, concerning the status of 25X1
the Materials Handling Project. He said was questioning why 25X1
the TDS had not come back to him with recommendations for splitting
the Materials Handling Project. also wondered why 25X1
representatives from TDS had not been going out to check on other
materials handling projects by other agencies. TDS should go to ACIC
to see what is doing and how good they are; TDS,for instance, 25X1
should also check and see what Navy Oceanographic is doing in materials
handling.
2. wants to know what we will expect to do in-house
on materials handling.
3. said this is an open invitation for TDS to check
on other organizations and to make recommendations concerning materials
handling. He reiterated that said that TDS could get on an
airplane anytime and check out other organizations.
