SUBJECT : Exhibition of Technical Surveillance Counter-
measures Equipment and Techniques
1. The Research and Development Subcommittee of the Technical
Surveillance Countermeasures Committee (TSCC) of USIB is sponsoring
an exhibition of countermeasures equipment and techniques being
developed within the intelligence community. The purpose of the
presentation is to report and discuss the status of various studies and
materiel R&D projects in which USIB member agencies are engaged.
2. On behalf of the TSCC, I would like to extend to you an
invitation to attend the exhibition which will be held on 22 and 23
October 1968, at the
Virginia.
3. Your representative on the TSCC, Mr. William O. Cregar,
telephone extension 517, can furnish complete information on the
location and hours of the exhibition, and the security clearance
certification required since the exhibit is TOP SECRET.
4. Invitations are being extended to appropriate members of
your organization through your representatives on both the TSCC and
its R&D Subcommittee. The attendance of other members of your
staff of your selection will be welcomed, and their names should be
furnished to Mr. Cregar as soon as possible.
